Boat History / Other Notes:
Reliance first supported the logging industry delivering supplies and men in the Willapa Bay area. When the state of Washington started the log patrol program the Reliance was one of the first 18 boats to participate. Reliance was in the log patrol of Grays Harbor until the mid 1970's. Phil Shively restored the Reliance in the late 70's, saving her. My time with Reliance started in 2007. I have tried to work on Reliance since then using only hand tools and methods available in 1909.
